Evaluations of the GICHD

In late 2003, the GICHD Council of Foundation decided to commission an independent evaluation of the Centre, in part to assess the GICHD Strategy 2003-05 and to contribute to the development of a new Strategy. The evaluation began in summer 2004, and was completed in November of that year.

Since then, the Centre has commissioned more focused evaluations of four of its programmes, as follows:

In 2010, upon request of the Swiss Government, an independent evaluation of the Centre was undertaken.
