Inna is undertaking a six month post-graduate internship Geographical Information Systems specialist in information management section. She is responsible for the spatial analysis of global and national data, for supporting the team members and country programmes in research and development of best practice for the information management system for mine action (IMSMA). She will develop pedagogical multimedia material for IMSMA and will provide training support. Her responsibilities are also to supply team members with digital thematic maps, to georeference and to archive the material. Inna has a MA in Environmental Natural Sciences from Geneva University and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from National University "Kyiv-Mohyla academy" in Ukraine. She has followed the Certificate of Geomatics at the University of Geneva continued by three months of stage at UNEP/GRID where she developed a geo-database in ArcGIS. She also worked as consultant for "Sensitivity mapping for the Odessa Agglomeration" and "Planet action - Atlas Europe" UNEP projects using remote sensing and GIS technologies. |
