BackgroundBasile joined the Centre as the Assistant to the Director in April 2008. Amongst other things, he is responsible for preparing meetings, travel programs and speeches for the Director. He is also responsible for the GICHD newsletter and the development of a country database. Basile has a degree in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute for International Studies. During his studies he worked as a freelance journalist for a student magazine based in Lausanne. Prior to joining the GICHD, he was working for Rezonance in Geneva. He was in charge of a project about innovation in Switzerland. This project involved the publication of a Yearbook and the organization of a Gala in Bern. Basile’s mother-tongue is French. He is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of German. |
