Hélène is responsible for maintaining and developing the GICHD Records & Archives System and the Centre's Library. Her tasks also include Information Management (weekly bulletin, press review, intranet, pictures database and training of new staff) as well as supervision and training of the apprentice. Finally, she also assists the webmaster and provides support during the conferences.
Before joining the GICHD in August 2002, Hélène worked for 7 years at Firmenich (a fragrances and flavours selling company with headquarter in Geneva) as a training co-ordinator and project manager.
She has a Master in Political Science from the University of Geneva. She is fluent in French and English and has a basic knowledge of German and Spanish.
