Background
Silvie Holowaty is the Website Manager for the GICHD since October 2000. Her job consists of redesigning and reorganizing the centre's Web Site, as well as maintaining and updating the contents of the Site.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal with a double Major in Psychology and Mathematics, as well as a "Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures en Visualisation et Communication Infographiques" obtained from Miralab at the University of Geneva.
Her previous professional experience includes 2 years of Web Site creation, 3D film animation at MiraLab, production coordinator for an educational film for the Red Cross, elementary school math teacher, research on facial expressions at the faculty of psychology at the University of Geneva and technical writing for a software instruction manual. Silvie is fluent in French and English with a basic understanding of Italian.
