Background
Sophie Delfolie joined the Anti-personnel Mine Ban Convention Implementation Support Unit (ISU) at the GICHD in July 2002.
She is responsible for preparing a variety of information tools related to the ISU’s support of the current and incoming Presidents of Meetings of the States Parties, Standing Committee Co-Chairs and Coordinators of Contact Groups. She assists the Manager of the ISU in all aspects of his work, including during and in the preparations for Meetings of the States Parties and Standing Committee meetings; she is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the ISU’s documentation resource facility.
She holds an MA in Politics from the University of Geneva and previously worked for the European Parliament, UK Office and the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.
