MOTAPM

MOTAPM have been on the agenda of the CCW since 2001. States Parties to the CCW will consider best ways and practices in order to reduce the humanitarian impacts of these weapons. No agreement was reached among States Parties on a new protocol on MOTAPM during the Third Review Conference.

At the 2007 Meeting of the CCW States Parties held from 7 to 13 November 2007, it has been decided to "keep the issue of MOTAPM under consideration under the overall responsibility of the Chairperson-designate".
