The GICHD provides support to the "Centre National d’Action Antimines du Sénégal (CNAMS)" in the field of programme management and standards. Senegal was one the main partners of the Francophone Programme. The Permanent Representative of Senegal to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Fodé Seck, is a member of the Council of Foundation.

• Senegal was, together with Benin and Mauritania, one of the three African partners for the Bibliomines Project
