The GICHD provides support to the National Mine Action Centre (NMAC) in the field of programme management, operations and standards. In April 2004, the GICHD signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NMAC. The Sudan NMAC has a seat on the International Mine Action Standards Review Board.

  • Installation of and training on IMSMA

Operations

  • Support for the land release project and assessment of the Sudan land release policy, Sudan being one of the GICHD's target countries for land release outreach activities.
