The primary task of the GICHD Regional Support Centres (RSC) is to provide direct operational support in the use and integration of information management tools in mine action. The RSC representatives provide direct first level user support for IMSMA, including on-site training, technical advice and maintenance services. The RSCs assist national authorities and the UN with a variety of tasks, including the review of policies and procedures governing information exchange, communication, information management strategies, and product development.
