This E-Catalogue currently has three sections; Detectors, Mechanical and PPE. User-friendly and easy-to-operate machines and detection systems are needed in the field and deminers must have the best personal protective equipment. All stakeholders should maintain their efforts to fulfill these aims and this database is designed to assist in this aim. The information found in this E-Catalogue is provided by the manufacturers and concerns products which we believe are currently available on the market. The interested reader can find further general information on detection technologies and systems in the GICHD’s 2006 publication Guidebook on Detection Technologies and Systems for Humanitarian Demining. Those interested in tests on detectors, machines and PPE should either contact manufacturers directly or refer to "Related Reports & Publications" listed in the right hand column of each record. Manufacturers who’s Mine Action Equipment are listed in the E-Catalogue can modify their data by using the E-Catalogue Modification Forms (see link on the right).
