Rapid Humanitarian Assessments - How Rational?

This report addresses the design and support of rapid assessments through the example of a value-of-information study of two assessments in Iraq. This report is meant for database and Geographic Information Systems specialists as well as for survey specialists and policy scientists who may have relevant competencies in the aforementionned domains but little exposure to post-war situations. The aim is that humanitarian practitioners will be able to translate their inputs into better assesssment tools.
