Criteria for including sites in the GICHD Links & Information Database:
- The sites must contain material relevant to mine action.
- In general only sites maintained by a formal organisation, such as governments, international organisations, academic institutions, commercial organisations and non-government organisations are included.
- All sites included in the GICHD Links Library are subject to a review process to ensure their validity. GICHD will conduct a review of the links in the library on a periodic basis.
- The sites must not include material of clearly offensive character, although no political censorship occurs, and a broad range of opinions is accepted.
- The raison d'etre of the sites must be clearly identified.
- The sites must guarantee technical reliability and be updated regularly.
- The GICHD does not include any "pay to view" sites.
