The Aim is the Development of Standardised Surrogate Targets for mine detection through: T&E of the existing surrogates and simulants of landmines (Mimeva, ITOP, ?) and comparison with real mines for several different sensor technologies (metal detectors, infrared, GPR, ?). One will define a selection of the most suitable targets for mine detection trials.
