Evaluation of off-the-shelf and developmental metal detectors to define their capabilities and limitations is ongoing. Trials have been conducted at CCMAT and in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Croatia and Bosnia. CCMAT was a participant in the International Pilot Project for Technical Cooperation (IPPTC).
