Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is meant to provide adequate deminer protection (where the meaning of "adequate" is obviously subjected to debate). PPE consists of visors, helmets, aprons, etc. Available equipment is improved with the goal of reducing its weight and/or cost, and of increasing the protection and comfort level.
