The GICHD provides support to the Centre de Perfectionnement aux actions post-conflictuelles de déminage et de dépollution (CPADD) in the field of strategic management, information management and standards. Benin is one of the main partners of the Francophone programme.

  • Partnership to translate International Mine Action Standards into French

Francophone programme

  • Benin is, together with Mauritania and Senegal, one of the three African partners for the Bibliomines Project. Bibliomines has been in part transferred to CPADD
  • The First Francophone Seminar on Mine Action and ERW was held in Cotonu in 2008
