The GICHD provides support to the United Nations Mine Action Coordination Centre (UNMACC) and to the Point Focal National pour la Lutte Antimines (PFNLAM) in the field of strategic management, operations, information management and standards.
Strategic management
- Support in conducting strategy, monitoring & evaluation and quality management diagnoses
- Support in the development of the national strategy
- Assistance with the Article 5 Extension Request

- Support in the implementation of land release procedures
Information management
- Follow-up on IMSMANG implementation
Standards
- Support in the development of National Mine Action Standards (NMAS)
