The GICHD provides support to the National Regulatory Authority (NRA) and other mine action actors in Laos in the field of strategic management, operations, and information management.

Strategic management

  • Training on priority-setting and pre/post clearance assessment
  • Support to the mine risk education (MRE) programme
  • Evaluation of UXO Lao & SODI

Operations

  • Support in the development and implementation of land release procedures

Information management

  • IMSMANG installed
  • Information management training and ongoing support to NRA personnel
