The GICHD provides support to the National Mine Action Centre (NMAC) in the field of strategic management, operations, information management and standards. In April 2004, the GICHD signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the NMAC. The Sudan NMAC has a seat on the International Mine Action Standards Review Board.
