Training: Landmines and ERW

This one-day training provides all mine action staff (mine action centre staff, government planning experts and expatriate technical advisers) with an overview of the current international legal instruments governing landmines and Explosive Remnants of War. It can also be provided to other government departments, including ministries of defence. The training builds upon the collective research and experience of the GICHD.

  • Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention
  • Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, including 1996 Amended Protocol II and 2003 Protocol V on Explosive Remnants of War
