Evaluating Mine Action Workshops

The “Evaluating Mine Action” training workshops  aim to develop basic knowledge of evaluation concepts, processes and methods, as well as results-based management approaches, and to assist mine action officials and practitioners in assuming enhanced roles in the evaluation function (e.g. commissioning, designing and/or conducting evaluations). The workshops are delivered in partnership with the International Program in Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), and follow IPDET’s training programme. These intensive workshops are aimed at national mine action officials, representatives from local and international mine action operators, technical advisors and programme officers nominated by the UN and other relevant agencies, and consultants working in the mine action field.
