The agenda is wide ranging and covers technologies and methodologies currently used in demining. 

The specific aims of this workshop are:

  • To address technical issues, requirements and practices. At the operational level cover topics such as metal detectors, dual sensors and the interference of soil on their performance. The workshop will also address operational challenges related road clearance and land release in a technology context. Technology for test and evaluation will also be covered.
  • To explain, exchange and share ideas and methods to improve efficiency.
  • To provide a forum where equipment requirements can be expressed and recorded.
