PfP Training - Introduction to IMSMA (PfP),
Geneva. 3-7 May 2004. 7th Introduction to the IMSMA system. The course provides an overview of the uses of IMSMA as an information management system and also briefly reviews the different functionalities of IMSMA. This course is organized and funded jointly by the Swiss Ministry of Defense and the GICHD. This course is part of the Partnership for Peace Initiative. - Incorporation of Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) into Peace Support operations,
11-22 October 2004. This is the 2nd course aiming to train military practitioners, involved in force protection and/or CIMIC activities in the framework of EOD/mine action tasks of Peace Support Operations <//u>(PSOs), on how to integrate IMSMA into PSOs. This course is organized and funded jointly by the Swiss Ministry of Defence and the GICHD. This course is part of the Partnership for Peace Initiative.

Ethiopia, May 2004. Feedback from the course provided the training team with further information on the areas requiring training support at the field level. - IMSMA Summer Workshop,
Geneva, July 2004. This second summer workshop focused on the use of <//span><//span>IMSMA by operations. The following mine action programmes using IMSMA were represented by the operations officer or equivalent: Albania, Chile, Croatia, Ecuador, Eritrea, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Kosovo, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Peru, Sri Lanka and Thailand. - Introduction to IMSMA Administration Course,
Geneva, July 2004. The aim of this course was to build local capacity as regards the administration of the IMSMA system. This was intended as the last technical training on IMSMA V 3.0. - Introduction to Operations Course,
Thailand, August 2004. Feedback from the course provided the training team with further information on the areas requiring training support at the field level, and how best to target the user population.
