Introduction to Information Management in Mine Action Training (PfP),
Geneva 18-22 April and 3-7 October 2005.

The goal of this course is to provide the foundations for information management and analysis. It is designed for operations and management staff and is designed to clearly outline the required considerations for successful information management and ways by which the benefits of information management can be maximized. This course is organized and funded jointly by the Swiss Ministry of Defense and the GICHD. This course is part of the Partnership for Peace Initiative

7-11 March; 14-18 March; 9-13 May; 23-27 May (Spanish); 30 May - 3 June (Spanish)

Information Management for Operations in Mine Action

This module was held 3 times:
27 June - 1 July; 9-15 October (Spanish) and 1-5 November.

All the participants for the above mentioned courses were selected in the same manner.  Firstly identified by the National Authority and later personal history forms and pre-tests were reviewed by the GICHD in order to ensure the most cohesive grouping possible for each training.
