Following the training of four Zambia Mine Action Centre (ZMAC) staff members earlier in the year in Geneva, the new version of IMSMA was installed and appropriate training to use it in day to day work was provided from 27 November till 12 December 2006 in Lusaka.
This new tool will improve ZMAC capacity to collect, display and report about the Mine Action threat in Zambia, as well as plan future activities in affected areas, located mainly along the borders of Zambia.
