This Workshop on Test and Evaluation of Demining Machines started in June 2003 and by mid 2004 has produced CEN Workshop Agreement CWA 15044:2004.

Test standardisation for demining machines will support the development of new demining tools and methods and makes it easier to compare different existing tools and products. The CWA is the product of a collaborative effort conducted between developers and end users.

  • Performance testing
  • Survivability testing
  • Acceptance testing
  • Test targets
