Advisory Services: Transparency Reporting

States that have accepted the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention a re required to provide, on an annual basis, information on nine aspects of implementation. In addition, they have been encouraged to provide voluntary information on other matters. This advisory service, which can last a half-day to one-day depending on the needs and interests of participants, is intended to build the capacity to provide high quality reports on the part of those responsible for drafting or submitting such reports. Article 7 of the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention serves as a foundation for this advisory service .
