The GICHD has a complex role which reaches into many aspects of mine action and related areas. This short, easy-to-read brochure provides an effective overview of the GICHD, its role and its activities. It contains the GICHD mission statement, descriptions of our approach to mine action and some of our activities, as well as our organisational chart.

It will be useful for those who are beginning their relationship with the GICHD, and also for those who want a fast overview of our organisation. This document complements the GICHD Strategy Document.

We have revised this publication, bringing it up to date with current activities and focus. It will be also published in French within the next few weeks.
