LIFE OF MINE Exhibition

On April 4, the International Day of Mine Awareness, the GICHD organised an opening ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland for the LIFE OF MINE Exhibition. The photo exhibition shows the impact that explosive remnants of war have on communities. Through 36 banners, the exhibition sheds a light on the people whose lives have been impacted by explosive hazards and those who dedicate their lives to eliminating them.

The photos in the LIFE OF MINE Exhibition were photographed in 3 affected countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia and Lebanon. The exhibition also includes country films and interviews that are accessible via QR codes, on our Youtube channel and the exhibition's website.

LIFE OF MINE Exhibition is simultaneously being shown around the world at embassies and various cities; The Hague (Netherlands), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bamako (Mali) and Bogotà (Colombia). It will be shown in more countries around the globe in the next few months.
