Marlène Joris currently works as Advisor and provides Information Management support to various partners, especially with their IMSMA Core implementations. Her responsibilities also include developing and providing training and conducting research on topics relevant to IM and technology. Marlène initially joined the GICHD in August 2015 as Programme Officer and mainly supported project management and donor relations.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Marlène Joris worked in the Geoservices Unit at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Bern, where she produced thematic maps. She also interned at Humanium as Regional coordinator for Asia-Pacific and supported this organisation in the field of project management and advocacy.
Marlène Joris holds a Master of Geography in Development Studies from the University of Lausanne and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Neuchâtel.
