Nadine Skaff joined the GICHD in September 2021 as Junior Programme Officer in the External Relations, Policy and Cooperation Programmes Division. In her role, she supports the Division’s policy and research projects focused on linking mine action, peace, and security with the Sustainable Development Goals. She also assists the division in the preparation of workshops and conferences, and contributes to the preparation of policy guidelines, toolkits, and training material.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Nadine Skaff worked in research and advocacy within various NGOs on human rights as well as peace and security issues. Past experiences include working as an NGO representative at the Human Rights Council and as a research assistant at the Arab Institute for Women in Beirut, Lebanon and the National Institutes of Health in the United States.
Nadine Skaff holds an MA in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of Geneva and BAs in English and Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia.
