Marlène Joris joined the GICHD in August 2015. As Programme Officer, she supports project management in the Information Management division, notably the reporting to government donors and funding proposals. She also participates in the organization of training sessions on information management and supports the Advisors, particularly with her GIS skills. Prior to joining the GICHD, Marlène Joris worked in the Geoservices Unit at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Bern, where she mainly produced thematic maps. She also interned at Humanium as Regional coordinator for Asia-Pacific and supported this organisation in the field of project management and advocacy. Marlène Joris holds a Master of Geography in Development Studies from the University of Lausanne and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Neuchâtel.
