Giulia Matassa joined the GICHD in July 2017. As Donor Reporting Coordinator she is responsible for coordinating the production of high-quality project proposals, concept notes and donor reports, in collaboration with the GICHD Management, Project and Programme Managers, and RBM team. Giulia also monitors grant implementation and works with GICHD divisions to ensure donor compliance and requirements are met. She previously served as a Programme Officer in the Standards and Operations division and Junior Programme Officer in the Risk Management division.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Giulia Matassa worked at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy within the Geopolitics and Global Futures Programme, LSE Consulting (UK), openDemocracy (UK), the International Air Transport Association (Italy) and within the Committee on World Food Security at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN (Italy).
Giulia Matassa holds a Master’s of Science in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics with International Relations from the University of York, UK.
