Kaitlin Hodge joined the GICHD in November 2017 as Operations Directorate and Gender Officer. Working with the Director of Operations, she provides support in overseeing the GICHD Operations portfolio and fostering cooperation with external partners and contributes to resource mobilization, grant monitoring and reporting. In addition, as focal point for gender and diversity at GICHD, she oversees the integration of gender and other diversity considerations into the GICHD's internal policies and external working practices.
Prior to joining the GICHD, Kaitlin Hodge coordinated a partnership between the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and Center for Creative Leadership and spent time working in Southern Africa - for the World Food Programme in Malawi and a violence and crime prevention initiative of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in South Africa. She has also held internships with several peacebuilding and human rights NGOs in the US, UK and Central Africa.
Kaitlin Hodge holds a Master's degree in comparative conflict analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor's degree in government and African studies from Smith College in the US.
