Nadim Amer joined the GICHD in September 2018 as Programme Officer in the Regional Cooperation Programme (RCP). His role is to provide support in project cycle management and financial monitoring, liaise with partners and national authorities in mine-affected countries, prepare and contribute to the design and implementation of RCP events. He also assists in overseeing the translation of Mine Action material and the quality control of the translated documents.
Prior to joining GICHD, Nadim Amer worked at Geneva Call, supporting the programme managers in donor relations, finances and the implementation of projects. He also worked at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) where he contributed to the development and implementation of security sector reform projects.
Nadim Amer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Paris I and a Master’s degree in Public Management and Policy from the University of Lausanne.
