Sandra Bialystok joined the GICHD in October 2014. As Digital Media Coordinator she oversees the websites and contributes to growing the Centre's online presence by coordinating and advising on new communication channels and tools, including mobile applications and virtual reality experiences, animations, and learning management systems.
Sandra Bialystok previously served as Communications Officer, where she coordinated the development of websites and contributed to the evolution of other digital channels and tools.
Before joining the GICHD, Sandra Bialystok was an External Relations Officer at the International Labour Organization, the Managing Editor of the Canadian Review of Social Policy and a freelance editor and writer for other UN agencies and not-for-profit organisations.
Sandra Bialystok holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree from Oxford University.
