Learn how to create maps and dashboards in your Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) Core. Discover step-by-step how to design interactive dashboards to visualize key data, track progress, and support better decision-making in mine action operations.
Aim
Web maps and web apps, such as dashboards, are part of the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) Core. When creating a web map, you should carefully consider its purpose and which configurations can fulfill that purpose. There are specific design principles that you can use to improve the usability of the web map. A dashboard should also be planned out to ensure that it includes all of the data and elements needed to deliver its intended message. In this course, you will explore different web maps and dashboards to understand how they are designed and created. You will also apply key design principles during the process of creating and configuring an effective web map and dashboard.
The self-paced e-learning module contribute towards gaining fundamental knowledge on IMSMA Core.
