The application of appropriately designed quality management (QM) processes promotes continuous improvement of the methodologies employed in the mine action sector. QM therefore contributes to a more effective and efficient use of resources while meeting the quality requirements of the end-user. Better use of resources will allow a greater volume of work to be completed, and for more communities to be made safe from the threat of EO. Sound QM processes also allow for better monitoring of safety and the prevention of accidents.
The course will take place from 9 to 18 October 2025 in Tripoli, Libya. During the training, participants will acquire knowledge and skills on how to apply quality management through quality planning and monitoring as part of quality assurance and quality control.
