The Detonator Carrier Unit DCU 510 contains blast effects and secondary fragments. Widely used by NATO, military personnel, EOD teams worldwide and de-mining companies, it also has applications in demolition, quarrying and construction.

The DCU510 reduces the UN Hazard Classification and compatibility group from 1.1B to 1.4S*, improving safety when storing and transporting electric and non-electric detonators. The unit also provides over seven minutes protection before the first detonator initiates in a fuel fire. (* Tested in Accordance with UN Series 6 (c) and (d) tests, conducted for specific detonators only. Tested with L2 A2 electric detonator with an NEQ 1.49 grams for each chamber.)
