Overview
The HRI Route clearance roller family of rollers is designed and configured to be a modular, easy to use, easy to maintain armored vehicle mounted roller to be used for route clearance and verification, Peacekeeping, route proving and quality assurance operations.
The Route Clearance Roller (RCR) is intended to be mounted on the front of an armored vehicle platform, ranging from small pickup trucks to full sized MRAP platforms for route clearance, peacekeeping and other operations. The roller consists of configurations of either 8 or 12 wheels (depending on vehicle size and application) as well as other features such as hydraulically actuated steering, headlights, and mud flaps. The roller is intended to trigger anti vehicle mines, IED's and anti personnel mines.
