The GICHD has been working to turn the concept of regional information management upside-down and give field programmes the tools and assistance they need to manage information locally. Focused on consolidating and sharing knowledge and experience about information management rather than consolidating and analyzing the information collected, the GICHD is starting to give a whole new meaning to regional information management through its Regional Support Centres (RSCS).
