Language level requirements

The course will be instructed in English with the simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian.

Equipment requirements

Participants are required to bring their own laptops with the following requirements:

• runs Windows 10 or higher;
• has at least 15 inch screen;
• scanned and free from viruses;
• has at least 32 GB of free drive space

Kindly note that there will be a need to install software such as ArcGIS Pro. Administrative rights on your laptop would be required. Neither the GICHD nor the venue can provide you with a training laptop, thus please do ensure to have the necessary equipment.

Teaching approach

This course is an in-person training and teaching methods include participatory group work and practical exercises in smaller groups to ensure that participants from diverse backgrounds can exchange on their experiences.

Assessment

• Participants' performance will be evaluated during the course.
• To get a certificate of achievement, the particioant will be required to complete a written and a practical test.

Travel & Accommodation

The GICHD reimburses travel expenses for registered participants and provides coffee, food and accommodation for the duration of the training.
