GICHD Outlook Report 2026

This Outlook Report sets out how the GICHD intends to advance the five outcomes of its four-year Strategy in 2026. The report exemplifies our engagement in explosive ordnance risk reduction by describing planned activities in five specific contexts in greater detail: Jordan, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Syria and Ukraine. Two new thematic areas of our engagement will be outlined specifically, namely our work on innovative finance in mine action and on innovation – a notion which, for us, implies technological innovation as well as more efficient processes.
