Who is the toolkit for?
The training is targeted for participants who already have good knowledge of EORE and are involved in the management of EORE projects. However, users may adapt the training to suit the needs of any EORE practitioner, regardless of their level.
Prior to the training, it is highly recommended that all participants take the GICHD’s introduction and advanced EORE e-learning. This ensures that all participants meet a minimum level of EORE knowledge to fully benefit from the training. It is also recommended that the facilitator be a senior-level EORE practitioner with good theoretical knowledge and experience in implementing EORE projects.
In 2025, at the request of Colombia’s national authority (OCCP), UNICEF Colombia, Humanity & Inclusion and the GICHD translated the SBCC for EORE training package into Spanish and contextualised it for Colombia, using it to train EORE leaders and to define concrete next steps for integrating SBCC into national policies and EORE implementation. This short document captures the main lessons and practical tips from that process in Colombia, with the aim of inspiring and facilitating similar adaptations in other countries.
How to use the toolkit?
The toolkit is a complete, self-contained training programme designed to be used without additional external support.
