The GICHD’s Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT) wishes to engage an expert in establishing CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS. The consultant will support the development of an internationally recognised conformity assessment system for the management of arms and ammunition by providing AMAT and its partners with expert advice on the development of an internationally recognised system of conformity assessment schemes. The consultant will support the development of critical elements of the Arms and Ammunition Validation System (AAMVS) framework and also provide advice on the processes and direction for developing broad international support for the system.
