Before its integration into the GICHD in March 2019, the Gender and Mine Action Programme (GMAP) was an independent organisation for more than 12 years. The aim of GMAP was to increase the effectiveness of mine action activities through the inclusion of a gender and diversity perspective in policy making, programming and implementation. This long-standing expertise enabled GMAP to support partners and encourage stakeholders in over 25 explosive ordnance-affected countries around the world. This was done through in-country and remote advisory services, technical assistance, capacity development, research and advocacy.
This page contains a repository of GMAP publications and resources from before its integration into the GICHD.
