
External relations, policy & cooperation programme
Danielle Payne joined the GICHD in February 2022, currently working as Fundraising and Donor Partnership Manager. In this role, she focuses on strengthening strategic resource mobilization for the Centre as well as maintaining and growing meaningful partnerships with donors. Prior to this role, Danielle held the position of Operations Coordinator with the GICHD where she worked to support the overall functioning and continued development of both the Mine Action Programmes Directorate, which includes the Divisions of Standards and Operations, Information Management, Inclusive Risk Reduction and Strategies, Performance and Impact, as well as the Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT).
Before to joining the GICHD, Danielle Payne had been working for the International Organization for Migration in Côte d'Ivoire with a focus on cross-cutting programme support as well as on the specific topics of border management and counter-trafficking. She also previously worked on emergency preparedness for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva.
Danielle Payne holds an MA in International Relations from the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. She also holds a BA in International Studies from the State University of New York at Cortland.
