The 6th Mine Action Technology Workshop was recently held in Lyon, France from 15 - 17 November. The workshop brought together humanitarian mine action operators, industry innovators, experts and developers to discuss the latest innovations, challenges, concerns and opportunities in the field.
Hosted by United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the GICHD with support from Handicap International (HI) and the NOMAD consortium, the theme of this event was "Harnessing Mobile technology: Opportunities and Challenges”.
