Anna Paiuc

Junior Programme Officer


Anna Paiuc joined the GICHD in September 2021 as Junior Programme Officer in the Information Management Division. Her responsibilities include coordinating review of materials used by IM advisors, organising and updating the content of relevant information, coordinating and providing support to the IMSMA expert working group’s steering and technical committees and researching and compiling findings about specific topics in the IM domain.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Anna Paiuc worked for the ICRC in geographic data management. She also worked in monitoring and evaluation at Generations for Peace, a Jordanian NGO dedicated to peacebuilding through sustainable conflict transformation at the grassroots.

Anna Paiuc holds a BA in Geography and Political Science from the University of Geneva and a MA in International Relations with a focus on the Middle East from the University of St. Gallen. She also has a postgraduate diploma in Geographic Information Systems.
